I DECIDED I WAS SPAMMING TWITTER TOO MUCH WITH MY THOUGHTS so here they are continued

☆ lol at implying romance going STRAIGHT over Edgeworth's head. "Of course I'm keeping an eye on her!" ha haaaa and then he gets it and it's like (...............WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THIS NOW!)

☆ I also love how they keep making thinly veiled references to Phoenix just like they did to Edgeworth in the second game until he showed up again. (I HAVE NO CLUE IF PHOENIX WILL SHOW UP HERE OKAY! UNSPOILED. I don't even remember where this is in the timeline, I guess after gs3 but before the gramaryes?? it's a good thing I don't play from this series anymore so I don't have to excuse away my total negligence to remember what is going on. see this is why I want to replay all the games now)

☆ ...actually before I start case 3 I have to stare at this picture for case 2 a bit; why is franziska always so damn fine. ... no seriously.
☆ omg ilu edgeworth. LET'S JUST PAWN OFF THIS HIDEOUS SUITCASE ONTO THE KIDNAPPERS. It is the juxtaposition of ttly serious lawyer times and rampant murder and ...random wacky details that makes this series so magical. Like I love how all the recurring characters are by necessity involved in multiple murder cases, but from the tone of the series, you... can't tell.
☆ ok let's just talk about ransom money blatantly in front of the kiddies at the amusement park OKAY, THAT'S COOL.

☆ "This was supposed to be a simple affair..." I don't know about YOU Edgeworth, but I generally don't consider bringing ransom money to negotiate with kidnappers a "simple affair," and you should not be surprised that they knocked you out after you told them you work closely with the police

☆ oh my god I forgot the frustrating part of this series: trying to find the proper way to convey the UTTERLY OBVIOUS. I mean I don't think it should take that much ~LOGIC~ to go "Hey there must be a hatch here! Maybe I should open it! Oh it's locked! Maybe I should use that key in plain sight!" not to mention I would try climbing up those shelves to get on top of the lockers before trying to CLIMB UP A BEAM

☆ Am I allowed to appreciate the fact that this scene is taking place with a Wild West backdrop.
☆ Also, that they keep using/remixing older music.
